PROKON LLC was founded in 2012 by Nobel Oil Services through the expansion of a business unit with proven construction expertise into a specialized Construction and Project Management entity, ensuring the management of integrated infrastructure, plant, and facility construction processes, from design adaptation to procurement and construction.
PROKON LLC is one of the few local construction companies capable of delivering large-scale downstream facilities in the country. One of its main projects is the construction of the Ammonia and Urea Complex on a 39.27-hectare site in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan, involving approximately 2,500–3,500 personnel from various disciplines. The company’s portfolio comprises a number of significant projects, including the SOCAR Ammonia & Urea Complex Project, Tank Fabrication and Erection Project, Site Preparation Project, and PP/HDPE Project (Conditioning Facility) for SOCAR Polymer; the Pipeline Project for Norm Cement Plant; the Cement Silo & Internal Gas Pipeline Project for CTIEC; and the Soil Investigation Project for Samsung Engineering.
To deliver services of superior quality, PROKON LLC developed an Integrated Management System and obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certifications from DNV GL, an internationally recognized certification body. Within five years, PROKON successfully underwent more than seven external audits conducted by DNV GL. These certifications qualify PROKON LLC to provide procurement services, as well as engineering, construction, and project management services for the oil and gas and construction industries.
PROKON LLC is certified by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the installation and operation of liquid and natural gas facilities. The company also holds a perpetual licence for the provision of construction and installation works for buildings and structures, issued by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
PROKON LLC was recognized as a “Transparent Tax Partner” by the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan in February 2017 for its transparent business practices and compliance with international and local accounting standards.
