Prokon Türkiye receives safety excellence award from Tüpraş

Prokon Makina, Insaat, Imalat, Montaj, Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd (Prokon Türkiye) is proud to announce that it has received a safety excellence award from Tüpraş, Türkiye’s leading energy company.
The Employee Health and Safety League award underscores the Prokon Türkiye's ongoing efforts to create a safe and secure workplace for its employees and partners, and outstanding commitment to overall HSE expectations of Tüpraş.
During 2022, Prokon successfully delivered critical maintenance and repair (M&R) works in Tüpraş’s Izmit Refinery ensuring the safety and reliability of the works. Following this success, on February 2023 the company was awarded another important scope for providing M&R works for company’s Kirikkale Refinery, which carries annual 5.4 million ton crude oil processing capacity.

Prokon Makina, Insaat, Imalat, Montaj, Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd (Prokon Türkiye), Prokon’s subsidiary, is pleased to announce that it has signed two new contracts with Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A.S. (Tüpraş) to provide maintenance, repair and replacement works at the Kirikkale Refinery.
Within the framework of the contracts, Prokon Türkiye will provide the maintenance and repair works of the static equipment, and replacement works of the column and the blowdown chimney during the planned shutdown period, which started on early February, and is planned to be completed before the end of March, 2023.

Prokon completes construction of a new modern school in Hokmeli settlement
Prokon has successfully completed the construction of a new, modern school in the Hokmeli settlement of the Absheron district. The project was financed by NEQSOL Holding as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy and long-term commitment to supporting the development of education in Azerbaijan.
The newly constructed school, officially opened on September 15, was built in compliance with international standards. Featuring 64 rooms, it can accommodate more than 1,200 students in a single shift (up to 2,400 in two shifts). The facility is equipped with technology and STEAM classrooms, laboratories, ICT rooms, a library, auditorium, sports facilities, and dedicated areas for inclusive education.
Covering 1.8 hectares with a total construction area of over 12,500 square meters, the project also included football and basketball courts, a 440-meter running track, landscaped green zones, and critical infrastructure such as potable and fire-fighting water reservoirs, asphalted roads, and various auxiliary facilities.
The initiative showcases Prokon’s proven expertise in construction and infrastructure development, contributing meaningfully to the advancement of education and social progress in the country. Together, these efforts provide a lasting contribution to the community of Hokmeli, ensuring modern learning conditions for generations to come.
